well i've decided since im on this everyday checking and contributing to my family blog i mine as well start my own.
i came home for the first time in a few weeks. it was interesting. i was really excited to see my friends. Ram and Malerie especially cause they haven't seen them in the longest. Everyone else i was of course stoked to see as well. Nick, I always love seeing you.
my parents werent home, theyre on a cruise to mexico. they love to go on cruises, i do to. theyre the best ever. but since they were gone i automatically stepped into the mother position, it's natural i can't help it. its just who i am. so i was doing dishes and sweeping, constantly. but i always leave time to party. we had a great time, thats for sure.
i ran the turkey trot this morning. that was intense. 3 miles, i can't believe i finished. well i knew i would finish, i just didn't know if i could run the whole time. however, i did pretty good and finished thanks to my good friend britt. i was also very happy my aunt karen and joan were there and the twins and trace. and kurtis. haha i came home and watched the macys parade. i love that parade. its so happy. and i love happy things.
speaking of happy. joseph saved my life today. he texted me the whole time i was driving up to spokane. and yes texting saved my life. im actually pretty dang good at texting and driving, especially on a pretty empty highway. but he kept me busy so i didnt want to shoot myself. i absolutely hate the spokane-kennewick drive. so thanks joseph. we have the best conversations.
thanksgiving was just another thanksgiving. nothing special. the food was the same. ha. i did get to see one of my favorite cousins though. i havent seen nathan in the longest and now he's going to be living close to me for a little. im so excited. holidays have just lost their awesomeness as ive got older, especially since i have two of each every year. thats the way it goes with divorced parents. which is fine, im totally used to it. i also love the holidays its the greatest time of the year. i just feel i have a different experience with holidays than the average person.
who's average anyways? nobody. but ya know what i mean. or maybe you dont. but im not going to explain.
well i hope everybody had a great thanksgiving and ate a lot of great food.
